The “souls” talk has got to stop!

Can someone point me to a reasonably coherent discussion of the “souls” angle that keeps popping up in UAP/NHI circles–one that doesn’t invoke the term as if it’s a known quantity? If that text exists, I haven’t seen it.

I have no problem entertaining woo aspects of the discourse, but the souls stuff (“I heard we’re containers/a harvest”) feels lazy at best and regressive at worst.

Comparatively, we know way less about The Human Soul than we do about the phenomenon, so the former is not a helpful tool for parsing the latter (again, as far as I’ve seen). Why are we framing one complex mystery in terms of another, even bigger mystery? If we’re actually referring to something like “consciousness” or “the connection of local with collective consciousness,” for example, the language should reflect that distinction.

IMO, as the disclosure train rolls on, a nebulous and loaded concept like the soul cedes too much epistemic ground to the fearmongers/gatekeepers we know will say anything to keep us in the dark. Why make it easier for them?
