I never thought I would be the guy posting grainy cell phone footage of starlink and asking “Bro! Did I seel the aliens?”, yet here we are. What I know: it was 4.40am CST as I was driving roughly northwest out of my neighborhood, south east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. The contrail? tail? Was glowing bright orange in the night sky stretching roughly west to east. Might have been slightly north east heading. Seeming to be moving flat and fast, but it was dark and I was in a moving vehicle, so it’s hard to say for sure. The trail seemed to get shorter as I observed it and a few seconds after that second picture it had disappeared, either behind the tree line, or all together. There where no other lights I could see to indicate an airplane, and flight radar has the skies clear at that time in my area. Weather app says no cloud cover, but I didn’t notice any other stars. I didn’t find any mention online of any rocket launches this morning. The sun was too low to catch a jet contrail and light it up in an otherwise dark sky. No online mentions of comets visible or heavy meteorite activity. So please tell me, did I see the aliens?
