About Alice
After the AARO report was released in Early 2024, we saw a concerning shutdown of media coverage on UFOs. This raised alarms within our community, as it became evident that a faction within the government might have put pressure on the media and possibly even our legal system to stifle this critical conversation.
To address this, we knew we had to find a way to ensure that our community could stay informed and continue the fight for disclosure without relying on compromised mainstream sources. While Joshua has been our primary tool, we had to turn to Alice, which was originally designed as our backup solution. Alice, although more basic, is still an effective alternative that we can run independently and without the high costs associated with Joshua.
Alice integrates posts from both social media and traditional media, bringing in new sources like NewsNation while excluding those that are suspected to be compromised. However, it’s important to note that creating a workable product using Alice requires significantly more effort than it does with Joshua. Joshua is built on the OpenAI platform, which offers advanced capabilities, while Alice is a home-built artificial intelligence platform.
Additionally, the way Alice brings in news is still under development, and it sometimes pulls in non-UFO news, which we’re working to refine. Importantly, this platform is entirely unfunded—there are no ads, no revenue generation, and no monetization of any kind. This is simply our backup solution, created out of necessity to support the disclosure movement.
