A jellyfish-like UFO my mum encountered in 1994.

I’m wondering if there’s any similar cases to my mum’s UFO story? On the 29th of November, 1994 in Wee Jasper, New South Wales, Australia, my mum was camping with my dad and their friends basically in the middle of nowhere and with nothing around. She was staying up until the morning with one of her friends while the others were asleep and talking until both of them noticed a bright light in the sky in front of them that caught their attention at around 4-5am, they were so confused what they were looking at or what the light was coming from, she describes it as looking like a spotlight. Suddenly the light shoots towards them and they start screaming and running away, my mum says as she looked back briefly there was a trail of a light/glow that gave off a jellyfish-like tentacle appearance.

They were so scared after it that they both were traumatized by the experience and my mum questions the experience years later. My mum also has a sketch in her diary of the jellyfish-like light.

She has always told us about this story and her friend still remembers the night too but the recent news about the jellyfish UFO and learning about several other cases of jellyfish UFOs now has me really curious and also has her shocked that there’s other people with sightings of jellyfish-like UFOs, even though the description of the light is different and sounds a bit odd.
