Whenever you see something on this subreddit that makes you infuriated and makes you feel invited to join in on the infuriation please stop and ask yourself a few questions. Does this help the process of whistleblowing or is this destroying the credibility of a whistleblower? All whistleblowers should be held up to congress to tell if they’re lying or not. Jumping to conclusions that they’re already lying when they haven’t gone before congress yet is going to further convince congress to not proceed with these hearings. Hold your anger until these whistleblowers are allowed the speak under oath before the governing body. Then you can make a decision on how you feel about them. Getting angry before hearings are even allowed to happen and calling people grifters does nothing but destroy the whistleblowers reputation to ordinary people watching from afar, which furthers the chance these hearings won’t happen. We want them to happen.
