AARO Published Their Report. Cue the Freak Outs

Whenever SK or the DoD make a statement we get a rash of childish freak outs. “Do something now!” “If Lue and Mellon don’t respond RIGHT NOW, it’s all been a lie!” “Where’s daddy?” “We’ve all been tricked!” Waaaaaa!!

Get a grip and an ounce of maturity. A rational adult doesn’t lose their shit when their opponent makes a move, especially a predictable one.

You don’t automatically let your opponents dictate your actions and time table without careful assessment.

And if you think that the disclosure people don’t plan, merely grift, and play around, I’m not sure why you’re here.

Maybe they aren’t playing the long game (and the game is very long) which requires thoughtful moves in coordination with many fluctuating parts at certain times under the fog of war against a nearly omnipotent opponent.

Maybe they should just vomit everything they know *right now*, which will do nothing but ensure no more hearings, ruin any political capital they have gained, and only confirm that they are a cult of UFO fanatics. Break their NDAs – right now – and be met with “trust me, bro,” “where’s the proof?”

This is the real world – it’s slow, ambiguous, frustrating, with battles both won and lost. Individuals have mixed motives and interests. Sometimes they come into conflict. There is likely a lot going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about. And, yes, we hear exaggerated claims. But the world isn’t black and white and we are dealing with real, flesh and blood people, some of whom are entangled in elite families or beholden to a variety of complex social and economic relationships.

I can’t imagine what one’s personal life is like who feels compelled to broadcast their knee-jerk reactions, shaking and foaming with wide-eyed panic.
