Admiril byrds missing journal: complete fabrication that people have repeated so many times it’s accepted as true?

Its stated like FACT everywhere, byrds diary tells fantastic hollow earth type tales. I know quite a lot about the guy, and operation H.J (anyone who looks into it, it was obviously a cover for some secret mission. When Byrd got back, top brass was briefed, whatever they said made 1st sectreatary of defense James forestall go insane, comatose almost. They threw him in a naval hospital, insisted he would be on the 13th floor unlike all other phyciatric patients on the 1st. No family could firtst talk to him, but he received several visits from the top cabinent members. About two weeks later, after conveying to his brother he was in good health and ready to leave, jumped out the window and killed himself (yeah right).

This is the main evidence that belives byrd encountered something incredible in anartica, what it was is up for debate. Now i’ve searched for admiril byrd’s 1946 “missing diary” and can find NOTHING. Where did this rumor of seeing wooly mammoths and nazi ufos repeated. If this is nonsense, why is it stated as fact?
