So, full disclosure, I am not a VFX artist nor am I a forensic video expert, so I don’t have any credentials to drop in order to demonstrate my aptitude in this particular area.

I will say, however, that I was very vocally of the mind that this particular video was very obviously a fake.

The key tells, here, as far as I was concerned, was the fact that when divested of bias and unrelated hypotheses, and when viewed purely on its merits, what you have is some locked-down footage of a plane that someone plopped some basic VFX on.

The primary forensic arguments – that I saw, at least – that confirmed the video’s authenticity, were:

the footage is confirmed to be stereoscopic, which cannot be faked without utilizing an enormous team of VFX artists creating and rendering complex 3D environments in order to achieve the effect

the portal that flashes into existence at the end illuminates the surrounding environment, which would also not be possible to accomplish without what one would assume to be a prohibitive amount of VFX work

To that end, I was hoping that the video sleuths who were responsible for authenticating the satellite footage by confirming that it was filmed stereoscopically could also take a look at the following, to see if these frames are indeed different, or just duplicates:

I’m particularly curious about seeing u/UnidentifiedBlobject‘s assessment, after their thorough analysis of the stereoscopic satellite footage:

And u/somethingsomethingbe also did a great breakdown on the same material using different methods:

More than anything else, I’m curious if the same forensic markers that proved the authenticity of the original satellite footage can also be used to prove the authenticity of this footage.

It’s possible that this new video is authentic, shot by some sort of adaptive-stereoscopic camera, but I’m more inclined to think that it’s some sort of complex 3D-rendered fake.
