Ancient pyramids v other ancient types of ruins

Why is it that ancient Egyptian and mesoamerican pyramids are given the ancient alien treatment as opposed to other ancient ruins?

For example, I feel like a lot of the same lines of reasoning as to what makes the Egyptian pyramids beyond ancient human capabilities could be argued for the Parthenon in Ancient Greece and perhaps even roman monolithic structures?

I just think it seems unfair to the civilizations of Africa and South America that they were completely incapable of constructing their own cities while Greece and Rome were more inclined to do it without extraterrestrial help.

So why don’t we say all these ancient civilizations were built by aliens as opposed to only Egyptian and mesoamerican ancient civilizations had to had been built by aliens?
