Are the lawmakers doing anything right now?

Since the time when the UAPDA was gutted, there were some revelations of obscure legal mechanisms that protects the hidden UAP programs. Also, it’s said that the “40 whistleblowers,” including first-hand ones, needs additional protections to come forward.

Is the US Congress doing anything to address such issues? Are the lawmakers actually introducing any UAP-related laws this year?

Grusch came forward because there were laws to protect him. But the first-hand witnesses with actual hands-on experience in the program(s) needs laws with further protections.

This year, so far we’re seeing lawmakers talking about field hearings, select subcommittees, subpoena power, but I don’t remember any of them talking about introducing new laws about UAPs.
