Obviously the government is going to hide documents and heavily edit them. However, there is a slight possibility that certain factions within the government let some revealing information slip out. Unlikely, but perhaps something deeply hidden will be buried in the archives.
Second, the documents will be useful in various ways for historians. I’m sure they will be read in creatively, leading to valuable insights.
