Last night, on June 7, I was at a campfire with three others in rural Alberta, Canada. We were in a wooded area, and as I got up to leave at about 1:00 a.m I saw a very bright blue rod moving through the sky. A couple of seconds later the others looked up and my girlfriend was able to see it but the others couldn’t due to the trees obstructing their view while the UFO moved downward. I kept a line of sight with it until it was past the trees. After moving to an open field about five minutes later I did not see anything and my girlfriend and I saw the exact same thing. I have no idea what it could be. It was far too high to be a tower or anything, and it didn’t look like anything I recognized; not a plane, satellite, or starlink. People will likely be saying starlink but I am absolutely certain it was something different. If someone could tell me what they think that would be appreciated. Thank you.
