Change of heart regarding this topic

I have recently decided that I no longer believe there is some significant cover up of deeper knowledge of UFOs. I believe the bulk of material regarding this subject has been part of a massive campaign to distract the public. There is nothing solid and no real evidence that is not anecdotal. The more I look at Grusch, the less I believe he’s the real deal. I think nobody from the government should be trusted unless they have cold hard proof to offer. I think it’s possible people might have seen true UFOs but that more likely it’s a combination of secret human tech and currently unexplained meteorological/earthly phenomena.

I’ve been on this ride since the NYT article of 2017. Rather than becoming more convinced by digging into the subject, I’ve reached the point of being moderately certain it’s 99.99% bullshit.

Brief edit: I also think this field is being used by politicians as an easy, meaningless grab bag to gain some votes. It costs little to say “we need to look into this!”.
