Corridor Crew on Jellyfish, Wasp and Miami Mall videos

Interesting discussion on some of the more dubious videos doing the rounds recently, from the drifting in the wind balloon ‘jellyfish’, to the retracting ‘wasp’ created in Adobe After Effects, to the Miami Mall ‘giant’, which turns out to be… well watch the video and find out.

Additional items: nothing like a Mylar balloon in the dark to get people to see what they want to see.

Sadly now, there’s a surfeit of hoaxes, mundane phenomena that look mysterious when videoed in less than ideal conditions, or blurry/dark/indistinct images that allow the imagination to run rampant. No better way to get the UFO community enthralled than to share some blurry imagery that you know true believers will accept without question, and allow their imagination not just to fill in the gaps, but to paint a picture of some there not there at all.

“An incursion by an object of unknown origin was filmed at a United States joint operations base in Iraq. The object was designated UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena), and was tracked for a durational period. The object moved through a sensitive military installation – and eventually traversed over a body of water, where it actuated a controlled descent – submerging into the water. After an observational period of about seventeen minutes – the UAP reemerged from the body of water and shot-off at an extreme rate of speed – beyond the optical scope of the observation platform. The origin, intent and capability of the Anomalous Aerial Vehicle remains unknown. Official designation remains UAP.”

“No aliens at Miami mall, police say Rafael Horta, a Miami police spokesperson, said the claim that the video shows aliens at the shopping center is false.

“It’s actually just a person walking with a shadow,” Horta said in a Jan. 5 Instagram video posted by the Miami Police Department. “So I can confirm to you all here today right now that there are no aliens in Miami in Bayside Marketplace – at the moment.”

Police went to the mall Jan. 1 in response to a group of about 50 juveniles who had been shooting fireworks at people, Horta said. Officers had trouble containing the group and called for citywide reinforcements, resulting in a significant police presence, he said.”
