Many of us believe the UAP disclosure bill was framed because the gang of eight (at least Schumer) knows something about NHI/UAP. But then Schumer gives this statement. I’m not sure why he is giving statements like this if he knows things. Even his “sunlight as disinfectant” statement feels like he is not sure of anything and made the bill because of the extraordinary claims from whistleblowers and is now waiting for the truth to come up.

I have read the points in support of “gang of eight knows the truth” but I also want to understand the other side so I see beyond my confirmation bias. Does anyone have good arguments supporting that the gang of eight actually know nothing?
