Looks like there’s a lot of pessimism going around this sub since the airline video was apparently debunked. I think the video and the analysis was fascinating but I’m not invested in it being fake or real at this point. Because it really doesn’t matter.

If it’s real > Still need official confirmation of its validity. And how many other similar videos exist that we haven’t seen> Need to push for disclosure

If it’s fake > Well shit we wasted our time > Need to push for disclosure

The bigger point I’d like to make is that this is one of the key goals of disinformation/misinformation campaigns. They want to overwhelm you with information that is false or is only partially true so you endlessly debate and exhaust yourself to the point where you become indifferent to the issue.

Try not to get too invested in a single piece of potential evidence or a single person. Write to your representatives. Write them every week if you have to. I’ll say this again, do NOT give in to the pessimism, let’s maintain the momentum. Hold the line.
