Does anyone remember the post by the person who saw a “grid” of illuminated objects moving slowly across the sky one night in the suburbs somewhere in the UK?

I’m looking for an experience that someone posted about on one of the related ufo subreddits like r/UFOS (or possibly r/HighStrangeness) and I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me find it or if anyone else remembers it.

The person who posted this experience described seeing this with his dad one night from their home somewhere in a suburban neighborhood in the UK. They said they saw an enormous grid of illuminated objects moving in a slow organized way over the roofs of the homes in the suburban neighborhood. It was like they covered the entire sky like a net. They were awestruck. The dad went upstairs in silence to try to record the phenomenon in the sky with his camera and they found him staring out the window hours later if I remember correctly. There might have been a missing time element but I can’t remember.

But I do remember the experience changed this person’s life and they became fascinated with physics as a result, going on to study it seriously and possibly receiving intuitive insights about what they experienced. It completely freaked them out and changed the course of their life and they described some later anomalous things– something having to do with going to a pub and meeting someone who knew a lot about physics too. I’m really sorry I can’t remember clearer details but I read some things recently that reminded me of their story and I’d like to find the post again.
