There’s a fascinating new interview out with Eric Weinstein where he talks about his theories on what’s going on with UAP. It’s a very interesting one! I strongly recommend anyone interested in this subject watch it. TL;DR: He doesn’t know for sure, but thinks at least some of the programs are real, exist, and at least internally claim to be UAP related, and major scientists have worked on crazy cutting-edge physics.
A few key statements from the interview:
Weinstein seems to think the “interdimensional” thing from Grusch has been over-played. Weinstein states “Now, what I’ve been saying for about four years is there’s way more to this story than I had understood. I thought UFOs were total nonsense. I thought this was a waste of time. And I was wrong. It was just wrong.” Weinstein says “there are almost certainly our large programs inside the federal government that are denied, that are labeled ‘UFOs. Shhh, don’t tell anyone!.’ Now, whether those programs contain anything about nonhuman intelligence or aliens or spacecraft or anything like that is anyone’s guess. Because I haven’t seen anything. However, the programs almost certainly exist.” Weinstein says there is “tremendous circumstantial evidence that these programs exist, have existed for a long time, and have involved extraordinary… in particular, physicists… way back in the day.”
The next part pertains to anti-gravity research, and gets interesting:
Weinstein notes “There’s a 1971 Australian document from the Australian Intelligence Service that has been declassified and made public, which clears up all sorts of mysteries about what was going on with physics in the 1950s and 60s. And it names names. It says that Freeman Dyson, John Archibald, Wheeler, Pascal Jordan the Nazi, all of these people were working on anti-gravity. And the only reason to be working on anti-gravity was is that there was reason to think that something had gone beyond Einsteinian relativity. In other words, mostly we learn about physics from colliding. It’s like breaking rocks together. Smash two rocks, and then maybe you’ll see a little spark and you’ll study that. Except we do it with protons. This would be like some different thing where there was more advanced species and you’re looking at its machinery to try to figure out what science does it know that you don’t.”
This really piqued my interest, so I went looking for it, and I believe this is the Australian intelligence document he is referring to. Sure enough, what he describes is listed in this document. If someone thinks it’s a different document please respond in the comments with whichever your best guess of document is!

The entire document is 59 pages long and contains a TON of rather wild information. Lest anyone doubt it’s authenticity, here’s a link to it on the Australian government website. Here’s a copy on archive.org. It was declassified in 2008, so this document isn’t entirely new, and has been posted about previously on this reddit.

This document, an official document from the Australian government, for example, says: “The CIA became alarmed at the overloading of military communications during the mass sightings of 1952 and considered the possibility that the USSR may take advantage of such a situation. As a result, OSI acting through the Robertson-panel meeting of mid-January 1953, persuaded the USAF to use Project BLUE BOOK as a means of publicly “debunking” UFO’s, and at a later stage to allocate funds for the Avro advanced “saucer” aircraft and the launching of a crash program into anti-gravity power. To initiate such programs decades ahead of normal scientific development would indicate that the U.S. Government acknowledged the existence of advanced ‘aircraft’ which presumably used a gravity-control method of propulsion. An additional motivation could have been the fear that the USSR would achieve this goal before the U.S.”

Australia is basically officially calling Project Blue Book a debunk project, and assumes the “U.S. Government acknowledged the existence of advanced ‘aircraft’ which presumably used a gravity-control method of propulsion.” That’s a wild statement in an official document. There are many equally wild statements in this document.
