I live in FL, and Sunday night over the ocean I noticed a strange star that seemed brighter than others, and I hadn’t noticed it before.
It seems to be shimmering more than usual. So curious, I get my binoculars to take a look. It was far away, but seemed like it was slightly enlongated, thin and pill shaped. It was hard to discern.
As I was watching it, I noticed something come out of it, much smaller, and hard to see with the binoculars; it took a lot of focus. A lot, because it was moving very rapidly. I’ve seen planes, and the usual night clutter, but this puppy was out of my field of vision with binoculars in about 15 secs, moving northward.
No telling how high up it was, only that I still couldn’t discern it, it was so high up. But, what struck me as odd, was something coming out of it, and then zooming.
Thoughts?
