There are a number of publications which have written articles on UAP disclosure legislation that fall below conventional editorial standards of ethical journalism. It’s helpful to contact the publication or journalist to share your feedback when you see inaccurate or misleading statements. Someone will read your email and these messages can have an impact on future coverage.
Futurism is individually the largest contributor of articles which shamelessly criticize whistleblower testimony and provide misleading coverage of UAP disclosure legislation. The publication has described David Grusch’s testimony as “insane”, and labeled UAP whistleblowers as a “cabal of wannabe whistleblowers who (were) able to derail the AARO’s research and mission.” In their most recent article, they described David Grusch as a “discredited whistleblower” by citing their own previous article which discredited him.
These articles are neither “respectful” or “accurate”, and they do not seem to follow what futurism.com has listed as their own editorial standards for reporting.
If you would like to share your feedback with Futurism and their editorial staff, you can email them at [contact@futurism.com](mailto:contact@futurism.com) or [tips@futurism.com](mailto:tips@futurism.com).
Futurism is owned by Recurrent, a digital media company based out of New York and Florida. You can contact them by calling (305) 918-1013 or emailing their PR team at [cathy.hebert@recurrent.io](mailto:cathy.hebert@recurrent.io). Recurrent also owns media destinations such as Popular Science, The Drive, Task & Purpose, and The Warzone. Military and defense content is one of the four categories they focus on.
I have reviewed their “who we are” page and they have listed “transparency” as one of their core values, which they described as “clear, honest and consistent communication”. In this same section, they explain that they “will always extend this approach to our audiences” and “ensure they have complete trust in the work we do”. This will be helpful for anyone who would like to contact their office and discuss their offensive coverage of whistleblowers who sacrificed their careers and put their own personal safety at risk to tell the truth.
