Let’s assume the heart of the UFO conspiracy is real. That is, factions within the USG and U.S. military industrial complex have been engaged in a concerted effort to cover up the existence of UFOs/UAPs and non-human intelligence to 1) prevent a societal ontological shock and 2) reverse-engineer crashed or downed craft in an effort to establish military technology dominance. Assuming this conspiracy is reality, what would need to happen for the USG to disclose such information to the public? My opinion is that the USG has no incentive whatsoever to ever disclose information regarding UFOs/UAPs and non-human intelligence. I hypothesize a few unlikely scenarios could play out that would almost require disclosure such as the non-human intelligence making its existence known globally or inside government officials seditiously exposing the government coverup with a tremendous amount of hard indisputable evidence of UFOs/UAPs and non-human intelligence or an official disclosure by a foreign near-peer adversary that would make the USG look bad. Can you hypothesize any other scenarios? How likely would it be for the USG to actually officially disclose such a long coverup of such an impactful and sensitive subject?
