Has someone deleted photo/video of an UFO sighting because it felt wrong to have it?

Like ten or twelve years ago I witnessed an UFO from a window on my parents apartment. It was late at night and I had been gaming for a few hours, got thirsty so I went for a glass of water in the kitchen. I drank my water while looking outside the window, I had a great view of a valley in Mexico State (a super populated area in the surrounding Mexico City) and after a few seconds of contemplating the view I saw a bright light coming from east to west, cruising the city. I thought it was a plane at first except it was going too low, then it stopped in the middle of the skyline and stood there for a second making me think “okay I guess it was a helicopter after all” but then my heart sank, the light dived towards the ground, not like something falling but literally like a missile about to hit the ground. I thought I was going to witness a nuclear explosion or something like that but the light stopped again a few meters above a rooftop. I was left dumbfounded, wondering if this was really happening. I took out my phone (a Samsung Note 2 or 3) and zoomed to the max but the resolution wasn’t the best. The light stood there for a few minutes and slowly rose again to the sky, when I say slowly I mean SLOW, it took it like two and a half hours (from 3:00 am to 5:30 am) to be up again and when the sun went up the light faded in the blue background.

Anyway I showed my parents the videos I took, I had to delete several games and videos to make room to the recordings, as the thing stood there hours. My dad told me he also had recorded lights in the sky using a digital camera. I don’t remember seeing the video or not but I remember the next day of having the videos in my phone I felt super uneasy, like if I had proof of a homicide or something worse, I felt like just having those in my phone I would hear a knock on the door anytime, so I deleted the videos. Anyways I wonder if someone has also felt that “this is wrong” feeling and deleted footage of a sighting.
