Have NHI Been Monitoring the Internet?

This has probably been covered before, but just to revisit… Assuming NHI are super advanced, is it safe to say they’ve probably been monitoring everything we’ve put on the internet? Are they able to understand our languages? What would they infer about our species? Can this information be used against us? And of course… Do they know we’re dying for disclosure, and if so, what implications would this have on future interactions with us?
