I appreciate everyone’s help with my list yesterday. Full DISCLOSURE…a lot of those quotes were messed up (chat gpt likes to summarize sometimes and pretend it’s giving you the exact quote – lesson learned – I will be deleting my previous post in 24 hours because I don’t want to spread any misinformation with some of my accidental misquotes – my deepest most sincere apologies for that). I stayed up very late trying to correct everything – find the exact quotes and sources. Hopefully now, everything is a verified quote and all the links should work. I’m still very early in making this list. Right now it feels far too long. Someone in the last thread introduced me to a term: “Gish Gallop” which from my understanding is basically when you’re making an argument overwhelming your opponenent with MANY half assed ideas. That’s the exact opposite of what I’m trying to do. So from here, my goal is to continue narrowing down this list and then reformatting and reorganizing it in a way that is much more accessable and engaging for a healthy skeptic to consume.
