On 3 separate occasions over the past 6 months I’ve caught a bright white “light” on video near the same location while driving.
In multiple videos it appears to move rather quickly, but I’ve convinced myself it was nothing or my camera/phone movement. It also appears to be following me/keeping pace with me on 2 occasions (in 1 direction for 2-4 miles at approximately the same height as this one). The first time I thought surely not, now I’m not so sure. Every instance there have been helicopters either near the light(s), or arrive shortly after it leaves (Which occurred after this one left. 2 helicopters arrived within 3 minutes of taking this video). I turned around after I pulled off, and confirmed the light was gone. Then recorded 2 helicopters coming from the opposite direction the object went. I did not see the blue streak at the end of the video until I reviewed later. Which is what prompted me to post this.
I have another video of 2 white orbs in nearly the same spot as this one with 3-4 helicopters hovering near the white lights that look the same as this one. The lights don’t definitively move in that video.
This was taken 02/01/24. The object is above the Mississippi. I’m driving along a road adjacent to the houses overlooking the Mississippi. They sit approximately a couple hundred feet above the river.
Given the proir videos I’ve taken with the same lights I tried to keep this as steady as possible, while also not endangering myself or others. The object moves out of my camera view around 8 seconds in so I had to adjust. The end is the part I’m confused about. The object appears to turn blue, multicolored, then shoot off. At first I thought reflection. Though if you go frame by frame and zoom the dot and steak are above the window, and it doesnt move up or down with with my movement. I’m open to opinions. No I don’t do special effects. No this isn’t second hand. I took the video, and have watched it about 300+ times since.
Hindsight I would’ve had the window down. Maybe next time.
