I had a close ufo encounter on Tuesday (6-11)

I had one previous sighting with three other members of my family in the early 2000s. This one was a bit different.

Most nights, I’ll see a handful of star-like things that twist and turn and dance in the sky. It’s silly, but occasionally, due to the apparent consciousness aspect of this subject, I’ll try to project Imaginary beacons at these things. I thought, if nothing else, it was just kind of a goofy game I was playing by myself. On Tuesday night, however, it would seem that I got some sort of response.

I don’t remember the time exactly, probably somewhere near midnight. I was watching the sky and saw one of the familiar zig-zaggig lights. I did my projection thing toward it and after a second or two, a basketball sized ball of white light appeared above the tall grass at the edge of our yard. I watched it for a few seconds, got scared, and went back into my house.

I’m not sure how long it stuck around for or whether it was the same object from the sky or not. It was still there when I shut the door but I didn’t go checking on it. I’m ashamed I don’t have a picture or video, but I didn’t expect a close encounter. If it happens again, I’ll try to remain composed enough to take a video.
