Is the assumption that many governments throughout the world know there are aliens and captured crafts?

In which case, why wouldn’t they publicly call out the US for hiding the tech and release their own evidence to prove it is happening? Once you know such a thing is real and world changing tech exists, few other things would matter. You would publicly shame other governments for withholding technology which could improve civilization. The amount of people within various governments around the world who would have had the ability over the decades to leak evidence to the public would be pretty large. There are many things that don’t fall into place for me if you go along with the narrative of UFOs and reverse engineering programs.
