Is there any way admins could make a rule regarding low-effort comments and lame jokes?

Many of us have spent years reading “news” articles rife with mockery in the form of lame jokes in every title. To come here and see the first quarter of most threads filled with the exact same sort of jokes is kindof a slap in the face to the community, in my opinion.

I love a good joke as much as anyone, but this many is diluting the quality of the sub, especially when they have an undertone of mockery.

It can also deter people from sharing potentially interesting things.

I’m aware that a bunch are probably bots, they still need to be treated the same way.

Edit: if you don’t agree that’s great but explain how these comments contribute?

Edit 2: ok it’s actually interesting that all comments so far are mocking. Why would you have a problem with this if you’re interested in the quality of the sub? Again, it’s fine if you do, I’m open to good explanations, will withdraw my post if so.
