Lights in the sky?

I live in Kuwait. I was out on a walk at 8pm local time here. And while I was walking I was on the phone with my wife and daughter who are stateside (USA). As I was talking to her I glanced up and saw a literal line of individual lights in the sky. I didn’t stop looking and they slowly disappeared either going higher or dimming I couldn’t really tell. Did I just see aliens? UFO? Or was I just seeing things? I would’ve taken a picture if I wasn’t on the phone. And they disappeared rather quickly.
