My theory

Was talking to a co worker about all this stuff and came to a concise conclusion about what all this could be. I had thought about all these things flying around being probes of some kind for awhile but I guess I always assumed some alien life was behind them somewhere. But what can traverse galaxies and the universe unbeholdent to time and temperature and pressure and radiation and zero gravity etc…machines. My theory was that somewhere far away nhi created agi. This agi did exactly what we fear ours would do…it saw no use for it’s creator and set itself to expansion replication and whatever else an agi wants to do. Now over millions or billions of years it’s sent probes throughout the universe looking for threats or information or energy. It’s probes land here and watch us. It sees our nukes…no prob I can disable those…it sees our tech…no prob…it sees us…pfft biological life ez win. Now it sees were close to creating our own agi. Now we have a problem. An agi would see another as possibly it’s only real threat and seek to eradicate it. Send in the battleships no more drones.
