I keep hearing the purpose of the legacy program is to reverse engineer UAP technology to defend ourselves against enemies foreign and NHI. And the reason for secrecy is so they don’t find out. But that seems dumb to me. The UAP were able to show up to multiple nuclear bases, fire lasers and take complete control. They can actively jam, shut down flir and radar. They have complete air superiority against our best pilots. According to Fravor, they knew where his CAP point was. To me, that means they have an intimate knowledge of our language, technology, actions and intent. Which would make sense if they have been here since the beginning. I can’t decide if that makes them hostile or not, my mind changes daily. But if they were hostile in the traditional sense I don’t think we’d be given the chance to do half the stuff we are doing now (reverse engineering, nuclear weapons, etc.)
