Old 1950’s era sky surveys that have been digitized by modern technology suggest a background population of fast moving, reflective objects in low orbit around earth before humans were in space, the geometry of these objects simulated by the authors are interesting

This is a document published a couple years ago and was posted here I think last year. It is a fascinating read done by people who have an interest in the topic and are educated and have access to high end academic resources. if anything.

The research paper investigates the possibility of objects in our upper atmosphere orbiting our planet before we made it into space.

“…first set of searches for multiple, simultaneously (within a plate exposure) appearing and vanishing optical point sources in the night sky with an internal alignment.

” Clearly with our current data we cannot consider all possible scenarios to explain the existence of simultaneously appearing and disappearing point-like objects on the sky, as some explanations may not yet have even been imagined.”

It crunches a lot of data and I haven’t read the whole thing top to bottom since I first read it, I’m 100% reading it when I get off today however.
