On the physics of cavorite in Condorman’s fictional article

I have been reading https://condorman6.substack.com/p/a-conceptual-view-of-a-uap-reverse again. I keep tripping up on this part:

The first hurdle to overcome was how to use cavorite to move a vehicle in different directions. The solution was to position the cavorite in a geometrical pattern inside the structure and place a positive mass in front of it in the desired direction of movement. The cavorite would repel the positive mass away from it and the positive mass would attract the cavorite toward it, resulting in a perpetual acceleration in the direction of motion as shown in the illustration below.

Given that this is purportedly reversed engineered craft, it should still obey known physics aside from the magical cavorite material itself. Yet such an arrangement will not work, for Newton’s 3rd law and conservation of momemtum means that the vehicle experiences no net lift.

I know the article is a mix of fiction and reality, but is there a point to stating this obviously nonsensical mechanism? Am I missing something? If anyone has thoughts here, I would appreciate it! Thanks!
