People think UFO’s can’t crash cause they are too advanced….

I keep hearing people say that if they are so advanced to come here why would they crash or why would we be able to shoot a ufo down. Wouldn’t they be too advanced to crash or be shot down?

I think that is a bad argument, let me explain.

First, the ability to travel across the galaxy/time/dimensions/etc doesn’t mean it lasts forever. The probes we send to other planets only last for a given amount of time before they stop working. I would assume that certain craft crash just because they have run out of usable life/fuel/resources/etc.

Also every technology we have every developed has a given failure rate. We would have to assume that the craft also have a failure rate even if it is minuscule.

Second, why should we assume that we could not shoot down a ufo just because the technology is far advanced to ours. Do people think these are alien warships? Why would they have military defenses. Do any of the advanced probes or space ships we send to space or other planets have defenses?
