Questions for Ret USN Adm

Hi everyone. I’m obsessed with this topic and I recognize that I may be in a unique position. My father is a retired VADM and after his military service, he was a vice president (there are many) at major U.S. defense corporation. I have no reason to believe necessarily that he has had much exposure to this subject, but he has made some pretty cryptic comments in the past.

He has told me before that I’m welcome to ask him any question I like about any subject, with no promises about whether he would answer them and I’m confident he has never provided me any information that he shouldn’t. But I also think he would be willing to answer questions that I posed that might hint at information if I were to couch them in a way that wouldn’t violate his obligations.

I have asked pointed questions about UAP and particularly USOs with no real substantive answers. And I kind of gave up on that approach, choosing instead to ask questions like “Are you aware of any classified programs that you believe should be disclosed to the public.” In that instance, he said “No”, but he responded in less than half a second which made me suspicious.

He’s older now and is fully retired and I don’t want to miss an opportunity to dig as deep as he would allow. But, I may suffer from a lack of creativity and thought this group might be able to help me formulate questions that might lead to some interesting insights, given a six pack or two 🙂

I don’t post to Reddit with any frequency and I respect anyone’s opinion that I may be full of it. I promise I’m not, but can’t provide any identifying information out of respect for him.

What I will do is promise to report back answers I can gleam if this community can help me devise questions that are interesting and don’t put his responsibilities at risk.
