Regarding David Grusch’s Op-Ed.

It looks like the DOPSR office is stalling the release of Grusch’s letter. At the very least if they are going to play games like this why don’t we at least put pressure on them. Whoever is at the top and slowing things down thinks we are a small voiceless minority.

I’ve been waiting excitedly for this Op-Ed piece for 2 months. Who’s fault is it. Is it Grusch’s? No. Do I want him to change what he’s doing? He’s done everything legally and by the books. Do I want him to change that just so I can get some enjoyment from reading his article? Maybe he goes to jail but who cares. No I think the fact that he’s done everything by the book is commendable and smart.

He’s done everything by the book and we should commend him for that, these people are looking for one slip up from him and others like him. He has done a lot for us so why don’t we help him. Why don’t we actually do something that’s in our power.

Ross Coulhart always said physichal letters really do make an impact. It is pretty easy to ignore 100 emails or just handle a phone call. Imagine a sack of mail though being dumped on a secretary’s desk and it’s 100 letters, can you even imagine if it’s more? It adds an element of people are outraged and annoyed enough in this modern era to sit down and write a letter and drop it off at the post office. I will be making a phone call, sending an email and writing a few letters to this office and if you have any desire for an ounce of transparency I hope you do too.

A lot of you have talked a big game, a lot of you have given many of the people like Lue Elizando, Ross Coulthart, George Knapp, Jeremy Corbell etc. crap for not leaking documents, some of you have said that you would risk jail time for transparency. Thankfully I’m not asking for that, but do you care enough to write one letter?
