Serious Opinions about UFO Crafts

I hope this is permitted here.

First of all, I am a believer that “UFO’s” are extraterrestrial or other dimension in origin. I have no doubt that they are created and controlled by an intelligence that is far beyond earthly, human intelligence. Considering the condition of the world today, these aliens could be the dumbest idiots from their domains and still best any earthling.

Now to my serious question.

Many videos/pictures/eyewitness accounts of UFO’s show an object that has flashing lights. Sometimes multicolored. Others like the delta shaped objects seem to have just white emissions from below. The white lights seem to be more understandable from a human’s perspective as being some sort of propulsion “exhaust” but what would be the purpose of multicolored lights?

Earthly aircraft and seagoing vessels use red lights to signal the port side of the ship and green lights to designate the starboard side. These lights are to notify other craft what direction the plane or ship is heading. Simple but effective.

What purpose would a UFO have to emit multicolored lights? It’s not like they have a lot of air traffic to deal with. It looks pretty for a Spielberg movie but it doesn’t seem practical. Why fly to earth in a decked out ’67 Mustang with orange flames painted down the side when you don’t want anyone to see you?
