Yeah, this was a long time ago and I’ve never told anyone about it except my kids. So remember it as vividly now as I did the day after it happened. I live in Ireland and grew up in an urban area. One night I was out with a friend lying on a wall shooting the shit when I saw something moving over the street lights. The road was two lanes with orange lighting along each side. It was dark obviously, but I could see the lighting being reflected off the object. It was circular and convex on the side facing the ground. The way the reflected light bent around the bottom of the object as it glided above the street lighting told me the shape. It was surreal. It was completely silent and would not have been visible if it was higher above the lights. I’m a level headed guy, but this took me a while to comprehend. I pointed out out to my friend who caught the end of it passing. We ran over to the road and saw it ascend silently. Then we couldn’t see it anymore. We talk about that night now and again. It wasn’t anything I could explain back then without sounding like a mental case. All the recent developments make me feel like we might finally have answers soon. I hope we do.
