Sighting? Mexico City 10/3/23

Hi y’all, first time posting here. I was wondering if there was anything regarding a sighting in Mexico City from Friday October 6th 2023, a few days ago. I was traveling to Mexico City on a viva aerobús flight that was landing around 5 am in Mexico City, when the flight attendant pointed out that out of the left window you could see the most beautiful thing she had ever seen before. She noted it was possibly a star but wasn’t quite sure what it was and had never seen something like it before. I looked out and sure enough there was this bright Orange light that seemed to just be floating right above the city, but it seemed to be below cloud level, so how could it be a star? At that time we were already descending and had my phone put away in my backpack under the seat. I didn’t want to pull it out and risk getting in trouble. Plus I was in the middle seat and didn’t want to be all up in the window seat passenger’s space. I figured there would be some news about it if other people saw it as well. Has anyone seen any information on this? I’m trying to figure out what I actually saw. I find it remarkable that the flight attendant pointed it out. Thanks
