Since US seems to be “leading”(making vague sounds basically) the UAP “disclosure” movement, my big worry is if this will get caught up as a political partisan issue.

Imagine Trump coming to power and him disclosing, and huge part of the world calling it bullshit. Or Biden doing it, and republicans calling it bullshit.

I fear this would further reduce any credibility, given how much stigma already exists.

Either the disclosure needs to come from a high level government executive from the scientific and armed forces community, and/or, should be a bipartisan effort for disclosure.
