So why do Non Human ships crash? if they are more advanced?

Vehicles are made for their environment and for navigation around it. If they are not “suited” for our atmosphere, physics etc. then I see it a bit like us trying to go to the depth of the sea… plenty of sea creatures can do it easily, but we can’t , even with our vastly superior intellect! Why wouldn’t non human life that comes from a different environment be in any other boat? Even in environments we are suited to we have crashes, failures, etc. Eventually we make things safer but lessons are learnt slowly and often from mistakes / unforeseen events etc.
