Template to Congress:

Dear [Congressperson’s Name],

The American people expect their elections to be free from foreign influence, yet intelligence-sharing agreements through the Five Eyes alliance have enabled outside nations to shape our political process. The governments of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are providing intelligence that directly impacts U.S. elections, creating an avenue for foreign interference.

This intelligence-sharing arrangement allows foreign agencies to collect data on American politicians, candidates, and voters, circumventing constitutional protections and enabling backdoor surveillance. This information is then funneled back to the U.S., where it can be used to manipulate political outcomes. This is a gross violation of the democratic process.

Congress must immediately review and reform the policies that allow foreign intelligence agencies to interfere in our elections. Stronger oversight is needed to ensure that no foreign nation, regardless of alliance status, has the ability to influence American politics.
