The Dark forest

Have y’all ever heard about “the dark forest theory”?

My English is not that good so please don’t mind it 😉

So for example if there are 4 civilization C1, C2, C3 and C4 (us) and for example if the C1 civilization is 45 million light years away from earth and they are more advanced than us and they even know about us, our planet how advanced we are but they don’t attack on us even after knowing that they can literally wipe out us from the existence but they still don’t invade on us BC of the distance andfear of being destroyed by any other civilization like C2 and C3 and if they try to invade on us it’ll take them 45 million years to reach us and by that time we’ll also become advanced in technology, that’s why they don’t attack. (Pls read about this theory on Wikipedia cuz i have not wrote the entire theory here)

So this could be the reason why we’ve never seen aliens…
