I was thinking about the classification dates about UAP last night and I seen that the 2022 bill Trump released about the coronavirus and UAP actually lines up with the classification guidelines. Apparently they are allowed to hold stuff secret for 75 years or 90 with an exemption.
“Date or Event for Declassification: Declassify no later than 90 years after the date of the record containing the exempted information.”
The bill was released in 2022 and the Roswell crash happened in 1947. That seems to line up perfectly with it. Does this mean that everything before 1949 is actually illegal to hold from us? Unless they have an exemption of course. I know the Aztec incident happened in 1948 which would be cool to hear about.
If they do get the exemption to 90 years is it illegal to hold after that? Because if it is, we know a crash happened in 1933 which is actually fair game. Or can they extend the exemption further?
On the bright side, thinking of it like this means we will possibly know about the Roswell incident very soon or in 2037 atleast.
