AT&T lost a class action lawsuit over the word “unlimited” when they were throttling data down to the point where mobile internet functionality was practically useless.. They had to shell out 60 million. I’m pretty certain it’s the same deal with “extraterrestrial/alien” It’s probably some insane rationale like: “Well these things are in our atmosphere when they’re observed, so technically they’re terrestrial objects at the moment of discovery”.. Or, the bullshit could be wrapped up in the words: “craft, vehicle, spaceship”. Using “NHI” completely bypasses these semantic legalese obfuscation attempts.
