Think Tank style Forum advice

Hi all!

I am in the process of fleshing out my Website.

I’ve got a page for an Archive, Written Articles, community websites, and would like to flesh out the forums portion of the site.

I’d like to promote a positive, think tank style discussion, research sharing, theory building etc kind of culture. Critical thinking but relaxed.

What Categories would make sense?

What are things that you’ve seen work on other forums? What things should be avoided?

If you wouldn’t mind providing feedback this is what I have put together so far
