One day we’re all united under one cause, the next day everyone turns on whatever is cool to hate or discredit.

The MH370 video, for example, was flying (no pun intended) around for years and years and everyone, rightly so, shit on the video. It literally got posted here a few months ago and the OP was treated like a gullible idiot, as he should have.

Out of nowhere it gets posted again and for an entire week it’s literally all everyone talks about and now it’s 99% possibly real. Then in the space of 12 hours, it’s obviously fake again lol

But this didn’t just happen with the MH370 video!

It happens with almost everything. One day a guy posts a blurry photo or video and gets called a dumbass because it’s “obviously a drone, plane, reflections, etc” by dozens and dozens of users.

The same blurry pic/video, or at least a similar one, gets posted a couple days later and gets 800 up votes with people saying “Yeah, that’s suuuper weird”.

The response to sightings, reports, videos, images, etc, really depends on the day you post stuff.

Now, either our users are all bipolar or just go with the flow of whatever is the general feeling of a post/thread OR there are bots influencing and poisoning the general opinions around here and after enough pressure from them, even the regular users get influenced by this.

All this amounts to losing time and it’s almost like we’re getting played (I believe we are).

I’m tired of coincidences. The MH370 stuff blowing up right as we get more serious disclosure info with the hearings and users were talking, sharing and working hard to get more info wasn’t a coincidence.

We need to do better as a community. Everyone needs to be more vigilant. You reading this post and I. Everyone.
