I don’t have a complete understanding about FLIR technology, but i assume that blue is cold and yellow/red is hot, and the range between this colors make up the spectrum of the video.

So my question is, what does the black that compose the portal effect implies? Does it means it is colder than the blue? Im really curious about how should we interpret this black. Whatever black means, do wormhole theories/propositions back this effect (be it cold, hot or any other explanation)? If not, do any VFX process have anything to do with it? Could it be an artistic choice from the producer? Is it a consequence of the video creation?

I’ve never seen a video like that before, i want to find out the veracity of it. I really want to believe, but it needs to be real. I haven’t seen any solid debunking until the time I’m writing this.
