Speculation:
There continues to be people, mostly in the military, who have run-ins with government agents (aka: men in black) and are warned to stay away from the subject because it is “satanic”
This “warning” used to work in the 1950’s and the few decades after – but today that scare tactic carries little real threat.
The men working at these defence companies and holding the crafts do not believe the satanic trope. No one involved believes it either. It is simply a psy-op scare tactic and today, it scares no one and holds no water.
EDIT to say further: The above theory all my speculation. I do not believe in satan, nor could I understand why this warning would continue to pop up in the recounting of many events. I do not believe executives working at these companies believe the aliens are satanic, so why would they claim such a thing?
The Answer I have landed on is that it is a psy-op to scare people off and that used to work when the US was predominately a deeply christian nation.
EDIT 2: I love how simply attempting to have a discussion immediately get’s downvoted.
