First off, I’m not saying I believe this, I’m neutral in this battle. I just think its useful to understand both arguments before making a decision.
Steel man:
From my understanding their position is that what’s being “hidden” is not NHI technology, but highly advanced human made weapons systems.
Those who are pushing for disclosure are people who are misguided in thinking these highly advanced weapons systems are NHI made and not human made.
Opinion:
If this is true, the fact these weapons have never been used is because they are simply too valuable to be used in any combat theater in the last 80 years.
Its the ace up the sleeve, you don’t use it unless you absolutely have to.
Also, it does make a lot of sense that this is all happening now while we have been rushing towards open conflict with Russia and China.
If you want to signal you have technology that is so advanced that you would be stupid to fight us, you wouldn’t wave it around. As it would just cause your opponent to make it for themselves.
I.E Russia getting the bomb 4 years after the US dropped them.
You would want it to seem like it is unobtainable technology.
Idk, i think it is very interesting that physics or aviation haven’t really had any giant breakthroughs in a long time.
Maybe we learned our lesson after the bomb and locked down any tech or science that would be the next ace up the sleeve.
Could be wrong, I don’t really know what to believe.
